Team Okanogan Animal Rescue and Greater Good Charities will host Big Fix 4.0, Washington's largest FREE spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchip clinic. This comprehensive four-day event represents a significant community effort to address pet overpopulation and enhance animal welfare throughout the region. The clinic will provide vital services to over 1,000 cats and dogs, offering pet owners access to essential veterinary care at no cost. By making these critical services freely available, the event aims to ensure that financial barriers don't prevent responsible pet ownership and population control.
Greater Good Charities will bring in a specialized team of high-quality, high-volume (HQHV) surgical staff who are extensively trained in efficient, compassionate veterinary care. These professionals will perform safe, humane spay/neuter surgeries using proven techniques and protocols developed specifically for large-scale clinic operations. Beyond the surgical procedures, every pet that receives surgery will also be provided with free vaccinations to protect against common diseases and a microchip for permanent identification. This comprehensive approach ensures that each animal leaves the clinic not only spayed or neutered, but also protected and traceable should they ever become lost.
