Big Fix spay/neuter clinics
TOAR’s Big Fix Clinics provide free spay/neuter, vaccine, and microchip services. These four-day events help over 1,000 pets per clinic, preventing unplanned litters, limiting the spread of preventable diseases, and ensuring animals stay healthier and safer.
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
Our TNR program takes a humane approach to community cat care. We stabilize colony populations, improve cat health, stop the spread of disease, and prevent unwanted litters — making a positive difference for cats and communities alike.

A gift of appreciated stocks and securities to TOAR is a tax-wise way to make your donation go further to help pets in need
Stock Donations
Donating appreciated stocks, mutual funds, or other securities directly to TOAR can be one of the most tax-efficient ways to give. When you donate securities held for more than one year, you avoid capital gains tax on the appreciation — and receive a charitable deduction for the full fair market value of the gift. Please consult with your tax professional for the most updated rules.
Contact us at Tresasurer@toarwa.org and we'll provide our brokerage account details for the transfer. Once the transfer is complete, we'll send you a written acknowledgment for your tax records.

Leave your legacy
A planned gift ensures animals in Okanogan County have a safety net for years to come. You don't need to be wealthy — gifts of any size make a lasting difference.
Will or trust
The simplest planned gift. Designate TOAR as a beneficiary in your will or living trust — a flexible way to save lives for years to come.
Retirement assets (IRA, 401k, 403b)
Name TOAR as a beneficiary of your retirement plan. This can be especially tax-efficient since heirs often pay income tax on inherited retirement funds.
Life insurance
Name TOAR as a primary or contingent beneficiary on a life insurance policy. Contact your insurer to request a beneficiary designation form.
Residuary or contingent bequest
Leave a percentage of your estate to TOAR after other bequests are fulfilled, or as a contingent gift if primary beneficiaries don't survive you.
