FIND YOUR PERFECT MATCH
Countless Pets
One Perfect Match
TOAR doesn't operate a shelter, but we're committed to connecting animals with loving homes. Browse thousands of adoptable pets near you — including animals we've helped transport from Okanogan County — through Petfinder.
WHY ADOPTION
Why adopt instead of shop?
Millions of wonderful animals are waiting in shelters right now. Choosing adoption makes a difference — for the pet you bring home, and for every animal still looking for their family.
SAVES
TWO LIVES
Adopting a pet saves the one you bring home and creates space for a rescue to save another animal in need.
COST
EFFECTIVE
Most adopted pets come already spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped — saving hundreds in upfront vet costs.
REDUCES
OVERPOPULATION
Adopting rather than buying directly reduces demand that fuels pet overpopulation and irresponsible breeding.
SUPPORTS
YOUR COMMUNITY
Many pets available through Petfinder are from local rescues and shelters — your adoption supports their lifesaving work.

TOAR's support of transport program helps move animals from our rural community — where adoption opportunities are extremely limited — to partner shelters and rescues across Washington where they have a real chance at finding a forever home.
