TOAR, in partnership with Greater Good Charities, hosts a four-day event offering free spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, and microchipping. This extremely popular event has limited daily capacity, and we often reach our maximum by 6am, so arrive early to secure your spot! To serve as many people as possible, we limit each vehicle to 15 animals.

TOAR distributes vital pet food and supplies to communities in need throughout the year, having provided over 170,000 lbs in the past year alone. These supplies help families keep their pets well-fed and support foster families in caring for animals without the added financial burden of food and supply costs. Follow us on social media to find out where we'll be next.

On-Going

throughout Okanagan County

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a humane and effective approach to managing community cat populations that benefits both cats and communities. By humanely trapping, sterilizing, vaccinating, and returning cats to their outdoor homes, TNR stops the cycle of reproduction, gradually reducing colony sizes over time while improving the health and quality of life for the cats. This proven method prevents pet overpopulation while allowing community cats to live out their lives humanely. TOAR has a huge commitment to TNR and works actively to support these efforts in our community.

As Needed

Sometimes pet owners face unexpected veterinary expenses that put their beloved companions at risk. Last year, TOAR was able to help many animals receive the medical care they needed to heal and return to their happy, healthy lives with their families.
